About Meridian

Meridian Construction has been bringing first rate general contracting, construction management and design/build services to northern New England for the better part of two decades. Originally established in January 1993, we've continued to employ a wealth of wisdom and innovation over the years by combining hands-on experience with modern creativity. Meridian employees are industry leaders that exhibit strong technical and managerial skills, apply scientific methodologies to problem solving, are critical thinkers, exercise creativity, and inject innovation into the process.

We usually complete around fifteen to twenty projects annually, up to $15 million per project. By design, our employees vary in age from young to old, giving outstanding perspective to a changing field while sustaining the foundation that allows Meridian its prolonged success. We have a very small turnover rate, some having been with us since the beginning in 1993, partly due to our excellent wages, and partly due to our employee benefits and workplace safety.

In 2004, we built a new facility at 32 Artisan Court in Gilford, NH (near Lake Winnipesaukee and the Laconia Airport) that now functions as our primary headquarters. Consisting of over 20,000 square feet, it holds our main office space (and three additional office units) in the front, as well as light-industrial warehouse space in the back. We also have a satellite office in Bedford, NH, and a newly opened satellite office in Colton, NY.

Each year Meridian makes a continued investment in its people, education, safety, equipment, and software applications, placing itself ahead of a list of highly sought-after contractors due to experience and expertise. We always choose our clients carefully. Our outstanding record and loyal customers are a testament to that purpose. Without question we continue to strive to be the best to work with in an industry too often struggling for cheaper solutions (no matter their impact on quality). It is our integrity and talent that has given us an upper hand, and an ability to maintain both superior value and exceptional service in a changing market.
