Gilford, NH – Meridian Construction is proud to announce the hiring of Eric Hastings, to serve as project manager/estimator for the Gilford-based firm. His years of experience include work as project manager/estimator at North Branch Construction in Concord and Bonnette, Page & Stone Corp. in Laconia, as well as work as project manager at Eckman Construction in Bedford. His responsibilities with Meridian will include both project management and estimating.

In his prior positions with North Branch and Eckman, Eric oversaw many well known construction projects, including the Lamprey Health Care facility in Nashua, Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth, Jaffrey/Rindge Middle School, Weare Middle School, Families in Transition in Manchester, and Edgewood Retirement Community in North Andover, MA—along with many others.

Receiving degrees in Manufacturing Processes/Management from Keene State College and Architectural Engineering Technology from New Hampshire Technical Institute, Eric has shown both a strong proficiency for managerial work as well as excellent communication and problem solving skills. He is an active member in the community, having served thirteen years as a PTO member in Concord, twelve years as a manager and umpire for the Concord youth softball league, and having volunteered in the Holiday Food Basket Project for the Capital Region Food Program.
