Description: This project involved parking garage repairs and restoration work. The face lift involved structural and cosmetic replacements to the vehicle barrier systems around both parking levels of the garage. Exterior access stairways were replaced and code compliant handrail systems were installed within the enclosed stairwell and pedestrian walkways. Work additionally included dry pipe fire suppression, stand pipe replacements, electrical lighting and pipe freeze protection replacements and replacements of drainage piping and trench drain systems. Structural steel support beams were replaced, full depth concrete and steel deck were replaced, along with concrete repairs and concrete protective coating system repairs and replacements. All work required initial asbestos and lead paint abatement. Extensive traffic control was required and we diverted in excess of 75% of all project generated waste from landfills, to recycled, reused materials process.
